The partnership behind the league is signed: the Great Africa Supporters Union and the Eastern Cape Football Association formalise the province-wide U15 development league, sanctioned under SAFA authority.

Every district runs its own division for boys and for girls, so young players compete close to home — then district champions cross the province on the road to the finals. Matches are played on Saturdays around the school calendar, with qualified referees, approved venues and full kit issued to every registered player.
The league is governed by a Joint Technical Committee of GASU and SAFA Eastern Cape, with a professional platform behind it: fixtures, results, team pages and league tables — all live at ecdl.co.za through the season.

Clubs, schools and coaches across all eight districts are being identified and engaged with SAFA Eastern Cape.
