Put the league on your phone.

The platform installs like an app — crest on your home screen, opens straight to your part of the league, and keeps working when the signal drops. There is nothing to download from an app store.

These are the steps for this device specifically.

Your device

  1. 1Open www.ecdl.co.za in your browser.
  2. 2Look in the browser menu for Install, Add to Home Screen, or Add to Dock.
  3. 3Follow the prompt. The league crest appears with your apps.

Why bother

It works without signal

Capture a result on a rural ground with no bars. It saves on the phone and syncs the moment you are back on a connection.

One tap to your work

No typing the address, no hunting for a bookmark. It opens on the part of the league your role covers.

Your data stays protected

Anything held on the phone is encrypted, and it is deleted after seven days whether it synced or not.

Nothing to install from a store

No Play Store, no App Store, no updates to chase. It updates itself.

Every other device

Share this page with your team — it shows each person the steps for whatever they are holding.

iPhone or iPad

  1. 1Open www.ecdl.co.za in Safari. This only works in Safari, not Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. 4Tap Add, top right. The league crest appears on your home screen.

If you cannot see Add to Home Screen, scroll further down the share list — it sits below the sharing apps.

If something goes wrong

  • No install option on iPhone? You are probably in Chrome. On an iPhone this only works in Safari.
  • Signed out unexpectedly? Sessions end after 30 minutes idle and always within 12 hours. That is deliberate — sign in again.
  • Showing an old page? Close the app fully and reopen it. It refreshes on its own.
